InterINDigital created and produced 26 episodes of the documentary series, called ‘Playing with Fire’ for (APTN) with its co-production partner, InMotion. (English and Cree versions) In this 13-part ½ hour documentary series, we follow various dynamic, Indigenous seasoned forest fire fighters – crew leaders, their crew members and young, energetic forest fire trainees as they struggle between both their personal goals and challenges at work and on the battle front while ultimately combating Mother Nature’s elements with at times only their innate desire to survive. We were able to embed two camera people within two crews from May to September to capture the full experience.
